Kieyam was the Head of Old Mutual Customised Solutions Boutique and Chair of the Investment Committees. OMCS has investments under management of R170 billion, offering both local and global investments across various quantitative and systematic investment strategies. He was responsible for leading and designing out the strategic and commercial direction of the various investment strategies which recently included elevating the value proposition of quantitative investment styles. Under his leadership OMCS launched its first active SA and Global ESG funds as well as launching a securities lending desk. Kieyam initially joined Old Mutual in 2005 and held various senior investment and business roles. In 2013 he was appointed Head of Guaranteed Investment Products focusing on structured products and synthetic indexation solutions. In 2016 he led the Shareholder Investments team focusing on optimising the on-balance sheet investments of the the Old Mutual Group. During 2018 Kieyam was appointed as General Manager in Product Solutions. In the latter role, he served as an Exco member of the Corporate Segment and was accountable for the strategy, development and management of Old Mutual’s range of smooth bonus, structured and annuity products. In addition, he was accountable for investment strategies and asset allocation of all with-profit funds. During 2019 Kieyam designed an investment strategy and led the team that was crowned the winner for a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) international contest aiming to solve for the volatility of defined contribution plans.
Monene holds the position of Chief Investment Officer of Old Mutual Multi-Managers. Monene initially joined SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager in January 2003 where she held the position of Head of Equity Manager Research and her responsibilities included selecting equity managers (SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager renamed to Old Mutual Multi-Managers post the merger with the Acsis Research and Investment Management Team in 2013). Monene started her career as a Performance Analyst at Old Mutual Asset Managers, before working for several blue-chip investment firms such as Merrill Lynch, Friends Provident in London, linked investment services provider, TMA, and Edge Investments. She is a CFA Charterholder, a Certified Financial Planner® professional and a member of the Financial Planning Institute.
Andrew has over 26 years of experience in investments ranging from investment product development for both life companies and asset managers to consulting on all aspects of investment strategy to retirement funds and other institutions. He has served on various trustee boards and management committees of retirement funds and is the Chairman of the Investments Committee of the Actuarial Society of South Africa. Andrew is a regular speaker on retirement and investment matters at industry events and conferences. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) and is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA) and the Faculty of Actuaries ( FFA).
Roland joined SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager in January 2011 as Chief Investment Officer. When the business merged with the Acsis Research and Investment Management team to form Old Mutual Multi-Managers in 2013, he became Head of Customer and Product Management for the new business. In 2016, Roland founded Tailored Fund Portfolios, an Old Mutual Wealth capability that provides tailored discretionary fund management (DFM) services to the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) market. Roland has an actuarial science degree from the University of Pretoria, has passed his SAIFM Registered Persons Exams and is a CFA Charterholder and CFP® professional. He also received training in holdings-based investment analysis in London from StyleResearch and was trained in manager selection by Brockhouse Cooper Inc. in Montreal. Roland has been appointed as Head of Retail for Old Mutual Multi-Managers (OMMM) effective 1 September 2023, to oversee and grow the fund as well as the DFM proposition of Old Mutual Multi-Managers in the retail market.
Karen is currently the Chief Operations Officer of Old Mutual Multi-Managers. She is an astute and proven leader having held the position of Business Support Manager in the Old Mutual Income and Guaranteed Solutions business unit within Old Mutual Product Solutions. Karen joined Old Mutual in February 1991 and has held various senior positions within the business over the years. She holds a diploma in Personnel Management which is complemented by her extensive management experience.
Melanie has been the Finance Manager for Old Mutual Multi-Managers since January 2014, shortly after the merger of the SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager and Acsis Research and Investment teams. She started her career with Old Mutual in 2010 at which time she oversaw the Life Fund investment reporting and financial reporting for South Africa's largest retirement annuity fund, SARAF, as well as the Fixed Bond product reporting. Prior to this, she completed her articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers before progressing to the position of audit manager, which involved servicing clients in the financial services industry, including retirement funds, medical schemes and investment managers. She is a qualified chartered accountant, registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Bessieka is head of product for Old Mutual Multi-Managers and Old Mutual Wealth. She started her career at Alexander Forbes and joined Old Mutual in 2009. Prior to her current role, she was part of the Old Mutual Risk Product Development team as well as the Old Mutual International Product Development team. Bessieka holds a B,Sc (Hons) in Actuarial Mathematics and has been a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries South Africa since 2011.

Izak started his career at Old Mutual in Cape Town as an intern in the strategy team, before joining Old Mutual Corporate's business intelligence unit. He later became an investment analyst for Fairbairn Capital and when that business was absorbed into Old Mutual Wealth in 2013, he joined Old Mutual Multi-Managers as Investment Strategist. In this role, he was responsible for economic research and investment analysis that feeds into the tactical asset allocation process. He was appointed as Chief Investment Strategist in 2023 expanding his responsibilities across the broader Wealth business. Izak holds an MPhil in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Cape Town. He writes regular commentary on investment-related matters for clients and advisors, and is frequently quoted in the media.
Ameer began his career in Financial Services in 1998 and has since gained extensive industry experience, working for Metropolitan Asset Managers as a Portfolio Manager, Futuregrowth Asset Management as the Head of Quantitative Research and Peregrine Quant Asset Management as a Quantitative Analyst, among others. He has an MCom (Financial Management) and an MSc (Engineering). Ameer joined the business in January 2012. He is a published writer and regularly presents at investment conferences and to clients.
After starting her career as a marketing executive at Investment Solutions in 2003, Andreea joined Old Mutual Investment Group (SA) in 2006. In 2008, she moved to SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager to oversee the development and maintenance of products and then joined the investment team in mid-2010, where she was involved with manager research within the absolute return building block and was also responsible for the international strategy. In September 2011, she was promoted to head up global investments, a role she currently undertakes for Old Mutual Multi-Managers. She is a BCom Honours graduate and a CFA and CAIA Charterholder.
Nosibusiso, joined the Old Mutual Multi-Managers investment team in October 2017 looking after hedge funds. She is currently the Head of Property and Hedge. Nosibusiso began her career in Financial Services in 2006, working for Absa Bank. In 2008 she joined Novare Actuaries and Consultants, as an Investment Analyst, where she built up extensive experience in manager research, fund selection and fund due diligence. In 2012 she was appointed as Fund Manager, where her responsibilities included maintaining relationships with key clients. In 2015 she joined the Novare Investments team as Portfolio Manager and in March 2016 she was promoted to Head of Research. Nosibusiso holds a Bachelor of Accounting and BCom. Honours (FAPM) degrees.
Barry is the Head of Quants and is responsible for investment modelling and data management. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science and an Honours degree in Financial Risk Management (cum laude). These qualifications include mathematically rigorous courses on mathematical statistics, portfolio theory and risk modelling.
Shawn has six years of experience in the Asset Administration industry and almost three years in the Asset Management industry. He started his career in financial services as a Hedge Fund Accountant in 2006, before holding various team leadership and operations positions. He joined Old Mutual Wealth in December 2014 as part of the Fund Operations and Asset Administration unit where he provided essential services to Old Mutual Multi-Managers. Shawn holds a N.Dip Cost Accounting (CPUT), B.Com Honours degree in Finance and Investments from UWC and an M.Com degree in Financial and Risk Management from UCT.
Tintswalo joined Old Mutual Multi-Managers in 2022 as an Investment Analyst. He has worked in the investment industry for six years, and started his career as an Investment Analyst at Sanlam Multi Manager for four years and as an Equity Analyst for two years in the Sanlam Investment equities team. As part of the investment team, Tintswalo is responsible for the global equity portfolios. He holds an MCom (in Corporate Finance and Valuations), a BBusSci (in Economics) and is a CFA Charterholder.

Rauzeen was appointed Head of Operations for Old Mutual Multi-Managers in November 2015 and has the primary responsibility of ensuring that all day-to-day operations of the business run smoothly, while also providing strategic leadership and management to the operations function. His previous work experience includes positions at a number of highly respected financial services organisations, including Investec Asset Management, Ovation Global Financial Services and Oasis Group Holdings. Prior to joining Old Mutual Multi-Managers, Rauzeen was the Head of Retail and Institutional Client Services at Kagiso Asset Management. He has a BCom Accounting and a Claritas Investment Certificate from the CFA Institute.
Bessieka is head of product for Old Mutual Multi-Managers and Old Mutual Wealth. She started her career at Alexander Forbes and joined Old Mutual in 2009. Nadine has been with Old Mutual for more than 21 years and the Old Mutual Multi-Managers team in March 2022. She is an actuary specialising in product development, maintenance and support and has worked with the following insurance products: low-income funeral and savings products; defined benefit pension liabilities; compulsory group life and disability cover; medical scheme cover; medical/health insurance; post-retirement annuities and multi-manager investments. Nadine has a passion for finding neat solutions that carefully balance the needs of the various stakeholders who make insurance business possible.
Jo-Ann started her career at Old Mutual in 1997 in the Employee Benefits division where she worked on diverse projects, from Demutualisation and Listing to IT. Jo-Ann moved to SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager in 2000 as Personal Assistant to the CEO and has grown within the business. In 2004 she moved to the CRM and Marketing divisions. In 2007 she was appointed Client Services Manager, responsible for day-to-day client deliverables. Currently, Jo-Ann is the Head of Marketing and Customer Support at Old Mutual Multi-Managers (renamed from SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager in 2014). Jo-Ann has a BCom Management degree and has been awarded the Claritas Investment Certificate. Jo-Ann also holds a Compliance Management Certificate from the University of Cape Town.
Jade is an experienced and multi-talented customer services professional with more than 13 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Jade started her career at Old Mutual in 2010 as a Client Relationship Manager in the Old Mutual Wealth Service Centre, where she was responsible for delivering exceptional client experience management to all clients and intermediaries. Jade joined Old Mutual Multi-Managers in 2019 and is currently a Customer Support Specialist. She holds a Business Management National Diploma in Marketing, a Wealth Management NQF 5 Certificate, and an Investment Management Certificate.
Estelle is a friendly and efficient professional with more than 20 years’ experience delivering exceptional customer service in the financial services industry. Estelle started her career at Old Mutual in 1998 in the Employee Benefits division and has held various positions within the organisation. She has been responsible for delivering client experience management to members, employers and intermediaries. Estelle joined Old Mutual Multi-Managers in 2021 and is currently a Customer Support Specialist. She holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Retirement Funds and Compliance Management as well as an Investment Management Certificate.
Naeema joined Old Mutual in 2013 when Acsis merged with Old Mutual Wealth and SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager as a Senior Associate Consultant. Her 28 years of financial industry experience was acquired in employee benefits administration and actuarial valuations of defined benefit funds, before joining Acsis in 2005. In her current role as Customer Support Specialist, she is responsible for customer enquiries, consultant support and overseeing various regulatory functions within Old Mutual Multi-Managers. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in financial planning.

Evan heads up new business development for Tailored Fund Portfolios nationally. He holds a B.Com Financial Management and Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Investments, and is responsible for the growth of adviser take-up of the proposition.
Ubayd is responsible for investment decisions in the team, including manager research, asset allocation, model portfolio design and management. Ubayd is also responsible for client analysis and investment reportbacks. He has a B.Com Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management and is a CFA® Charterholder.
Vandana’s key responsibility areas include portfolio operations, restructures and rebalancing and performance reporting. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UCT and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Accounting from UKZN. She is a registered Associate General Accountant [AGA (SA)] with SAICA. Vandana has 9 years of industry experience.
Shanthan plays a key role in supporting the portfolio management team and forms a bridge between the operations and investment teams. He is responsible for client analysis, monthly and quarterly reporting, efficient client implementation and rebalancing. He has completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at UCT and is a candidate in the CFA program.
Monene is a key member of the Tailored Fund Portfolios Investment Committee and is a valuable contributor to the Strategic Asset Allocation views employed within TFP. She is a CFA Charterholder, a Certified Financial Planner® professional and a member of the Financial Planning Institute.

Lezanne was appointed as Data Manager responsible for the daily management of the data capability for Old Mutual Multi-Managers in 2022. She joined SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager as a Business Analyst in April 2012, after spending the first two years of her career as a Business Analyst in the Small Business division at Absa Bank Limited. Lezanne filled the position of Project Manager at Old Mutual Multi-Managers (renamed from SYm|mETRY Multi-Manager in 2014) from 2016 to 2021. She has a BCom degree in Management as well as a Postgraduate Degree in Management from the University of the Western Cape.
Malieka was appointed in her role as business specialist in 2022. She heads up the OMMM performance team and provides insight and assistance with reviewing, improving and automating various business processes. She is also responsible for all standard operating procedures. She has 22 years of extensive experience in the investment industry (including asset management and multi-managers) and has built strong relationships and an extensive network. Prior to Old Mutual, her roles included Head of Operations at Aluwani Capital and Operations Manager at both Riscura Solutions and GTC Multi-Manager. Earlier in her career, she gained experience in administration and financial accounting roles at Coronation Fund Managers and Afena Capital. Malieka obtained her BCom Business Management degree from UNISA.
